In a strategic initiative to further augment its distribution base, JK Tyre & Industries has inaugurated its ‘JK Tyre Steel Wheels’ retail shop at Farrukhnagar, Haryana. This is the start of the company’s targeted growth in India’s rural markets, especially in towns with a population of one lakh and below.
JK Tyre aims to implement similar centres in Haryana, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana in the next three months, with a countrywide expansion slated later this year.
Comprehensive Offerings and Customer Benefits
The new facility reflects JK Tyre’s complete portfolio of products in all vehicle categories. The customers will experience competitive prices, market-leading warranties, and value-added services including tyre replacement and wheel balancing. Importantly, the store features an instant claim facility for non-truck tyres — a unique advantage in these markets — designed to provide greater customer convenience and confidence.
Powering Rural India
Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries, said:
Our rural growth plan enables us to touch the economically vibrant but traditionally underserved interiors of actual Bharat. These centers are more than mere shops — they are entrepreneurial and access hubs. They will be crucial brand touch points, providing consistency, convenience, and confidence to India’s up-and-coming rural consumers.
This program enhances JK Tyre’s larger mission of strengthening its last-mile connectivity and serving the increasing rural and semi-urban demand. Through the expansion, the company is collaborating with local entrepreneurs to run and develop these centres. These partnerships not only ensure self-sufficiency but also create jobs and foster economic growth at the grassroots level.
