In a thoughtful act of giving back to society, the Shree Ladies Club — a group of women who are spouses of Shree Cement employees — donated a fully equipped ambulance to Sant Parmanand Hospital in Delhi. This generous donation was made during the Club’s annual Teej festival celebration held in Gurugram. The event was led by Seema Akhoury, President of the Club.
The ambulance will help the hospital respond faster to emergencies and assist poor patients in the Delhi-NCR area who need quick and affordable medical help.
Seema Akhoury said, “At Shree Ladies Club, we try to care not just for our own families, but for others who need help too. This ambulance may be a small step, but it can make a big difference in saving lives.”
Sant Parmanand Hospital, started in 1933, runs two branches in Civil Lines and Kashmere Gate. The hospital is well known for its high-quality treatment, especially in bone and joint care. It uses advanced technology like Delhi’s first robotic joint replacement system and treats over 1.08 lakh patients every year. The hospital offers many free or low-cost treatments, including complex surgeries in areas like Orthopaedics, Brain and Nerve care, Women and Child Health, Heart care, and Critical Care.
This donation is part of the Shree Ladies Club’s larger goal to make a real difference in people’s lives through small but meaningful acts of kindness.
