The Ministry of Steel will hold an Open House meeting on 29 and 30 July 2025 at the Steel Room, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi.

The meeting is for companies and industry groups to talk about problems related to:

• Steel Import Monitoring System (SIMS)
• Quality Control Orders (QCOs)
• No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for steel imports

Important points:

• You must book a time slot in advance by emailing tech-steel[at]nic[dot]in.
• Walk-ins are not allowed because of limited space.
• Each industry association can get only one time slot to speak for its members.
• A maximum of 15 people per association can attend.

When emailing your request, include:

1. Name of your company/association
2. Topic (SIMS / NOC / QCO / other)
3. Names and number of people attending
4. Preferred date (29 or 30 July)
5. SIMS or NOC application reference (if any)
6. Your industry and product type (e.g., Auto, Aerospace, Telecom, Defence)
7. Short summary of the issue (max 50 words)
8. Nodal contact person’s mobile number and email

The Open House will be held from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM on both days.

The Ministry invites all stakeholders with import-related issues to send their requests and get a confirmed time slot.
