IESA Vision Summit 2025 kicked off on March 5, 2025 at Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat as part of “Gujarat SemiConnect 2025” with Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel inaugurating the event.

Theme of the year is “Silicon Gujarat: Powering India’s Semiconductor Revolution”. Over 1500 people from across the globe including engineers, researchers, industry leaders gathered to discuss India’s role as a global semiconductor leader. The summit also highlighted Gujarat’s role in making India self sufficient in semiconductor innovation and manufacturing. The event had keynotes, seminars and panel discussions on government policies, workforce development and international cooperation.
Day 1 had over 90 speakers, 50 keynotes, 7 panel discussions and 250 booths showcasing the entire semiconductor value chain. The exhibition with the theme “Sand to Silicon to Systems: Experience The End-to-End Ecosystem Journey” showcased India’s growing importance in the global semiconductor landscape.

What’s Next?
Day 2 will focus on India’s fabless semiconductor ecosystem and applications in medtech, spacetech and electric vehicles. It will also have high-precision manufacturing and global roundtables with Japan, Korea, Singapore, US and EU to strengthen international cooperation.
Day 3 will have industrial site visits in Dholera and Sanand to showcase Gujarat’s role in India’s semiconductor revolution. There will also be mentorship sessions for students and young professionals to explore career opportunities in the semiconductor industry.
