  • Adani Cement Helped Build the World’s Highest Railway Arch Bridge in Jammu & Kashmir

Adani Cement, which includes Ambuja Cements and ACC, played an important role in building the world’s highest railway arch bridge over the Chenab River in Jammu & Kashmir. This major project, led by Indian Railways, is a big step forward for India’s infrastructure.

Adani Cement supplied about 65,000 metric tonnes of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) 43 Grade. This type of cement is very strong and long-lasting, which made it perfect for the tough mountain conditions where the bridge was built.

Vinod Bahety, the CEO of Adani Cement, said, “We are very proud to be part of this project. It shows our support for India’s progress and unity. Every bag of our cement helps build the future of the country.”

The Chenab Bridge is a key part of Indian Railways’ plan to improve transport in northern India. It goes through difficult mountain areas and is seen as an engineering wonder.

This project shows that Adani Cement is a trusted partner in building India’s future. From modern cities to remote areas, the company continues to provide strong and reliable building materials for the country’s growth and development.
