Tata Motors, a large manufacturer of commercial vehicles, has entered into a tie-up with Vertelo, an electric mobility solutions provider. They have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate and make it simpler for individuals throughout India to operate electric commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, and mini-trucks.

Vertelo will offer exclusive leasing plans for this purpose. That is, owners of businesses can utilize Tata’s electric cars without purchasing them immediately, and thus saving on capital expenses.

Rajesh Kaul, Tata Motors’ Vice President, stated that the company aims to bring electric vehicles to a greater number of people. He added that this alliance would enable a greater number of companies to use electric vehicles and assist India in establishing a robust electric vehicle system.

Sandeep Gambhir, Vertelo’s CEO, stated he was pleased to partner with Tata Motors. He added the agreement would make more companies utilize electric vehicles by providing flexible leasing options and promoting cleaner transport.

With Tata Motors and Vertelo partnering, they aim to accelerate the adoption of electric commercial vehicles and promote clean and sustainable transport in India.
