Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary for IT and Industries & Commerce Departments of Telangana Government will be the Chief Guest at the Cement Expo Forum 2025. The event will be held on 5-6 March 2025 at Taj Krishna Hotel, Hyderabad, alongside Indian Cement Review Awards and Conference.

One of the key session will be a Fireside Chat with Pratap Padode, author of Tarmac to Towers: India’s Infrastructure Story. The chat will feature industry leaders Nilesh Narwekar, CEO JSW Cement and KVB Reddy, MD & CEO L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad. Over 30 industry experts will share their views on the cement sector during the forum.

Major cement companies like JK Cement, Shree Cement and JSW Cement will be attending the event. The theme of the forum will be “Growing Profitably” and the discussion will centre around market conditions, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

The forum will also look into India’s plan to add 210-220 million tonnes of cement capacity in the next 5-6 years and how technology will help cement companies to stay competitive.

Over 1000 delegates from cement and construction industry will be attending the event. The event will have discussions on sustainability, operational efficiency and strategies to grow in the current market.

Fireside Chat to Explore India’s Infrastructure Growth

A special Fireside Chat titled “Building Infrastructure, Cementing Growth” will focus on India’s infrastructure story from building highways to expanding aviation networks. It will highlight the role of cement industry in this growth. Speakers will include Jayesh Ranjan, Nilesh Narwekar and KVB Reddy who will discuss India’s infrastructure development and future of cement sector.

With government expected to increase spending, cement demand is expected to rise in 2025. Companies will also focus on sustainability, using new technology to reduce carbon footprint. The event will explore these trends and new business opportunities for the industry.
